yes, it’s true, nathan has a history…@ edgewood.
a long time ago [mid-80’s] nathan’s dad
was the sr. pastor at edgewood. but that
was a long time ago, and there are those
who would rather not talk about that,
because they had more hair then…
landed on earth: nov.14,1972
family relations: 2 kids [abigail – 7,
ethan – 5], 1 wife [jennifer]
favorite things: here’s something weird…
i don’t do favorites. i told ya it’s weird.
some say it’s a part of that strange creative
gene. groups of favorites, more
than just 1 or 2.
something my wife says about me: that i am “a closet intellectual”.
i’m not sure what that means – which may prove the fact that i’m not.
energy outlets: sports of all flavors [no running just for running sake!] i love you cross country and track-ers. but
you’re nuts!
ministry passions: i love working with students! for my money they’re the most fun. someone recently said that i
love students because i’m just a big kid. i don’t know if that’s true or not, but i’m not speaking to them anymore. just
kiddin’
i also have a passion for those who feel like they’ve been burned by church at some point in their past. i know lots of
people that don’t feel like they can trust the church. they believe in God, but they’re not sure if they believe in church.
i want to be a part of rebuilding their trust – that they might come back and check out what we’re doing around here.
i hope that edgewood is a place that it can happen.

this is a space that i'm able to process what's going on in my life. i am not a verbal processor; i work things out inside &
then am able to deal with what's going on. and many times as i'm dealing with the stuff in my life i feel as though i'm on
the edge. it could be the edge of something good or disastrous. but it's definitely the edge of something. the edge of
spiritual stuff, home & life stuff, things that have intrigued me & stuff that i'm confused by - lots of that.
